80060 Freshwater Spa Care Kit w/ Oxidizer, Test Strips, Filter Cleaner
This kit provides you with everything you need to care for your spa. Use test strips regularly, as it informs you on all five chemical balances to know what you need to use next from the care kit.
1. For chlorination, add 1/2 oz. per 500 gallons to the spa water.
2. Check chlorine residual after 5 minutes it must read between 2 to 3 ppm (If not, additional chlorine must be added).
3. Add 1 oz. per 500 gallons every 2 to 4 weeks to help keep your spa free from ordors and algae.
For maintenance, it is necessary to keep your spa 2 to 3 ppm chlorine reading.
*It is important to maintain the pH between 7.2 and 7.8. High pH (above 7.8) can cause scaling and/or cloudy or colored water.
